Now Hiring PT Weekend Armed Security Officers To join our growing team! Elsmere, KY Approx 12 miles out of Cincinnati Food Distribution Warehouse Patrols, Checkpoints, Temperature Checks, CCTV Cameras, Gatehouse Armed security officers must have their own 9mm firearm, duty belt and Level 3 holster Shift Schedules PT Weekends - 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am Sat and Sun $22.00 - $24.00 p/hr If you do not meet these requirements - our website has numerous other openings

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Professional demeanor and appearance
Basic computer skills
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Minimum of one year of security experience
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
