As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post where you will interact with personnel and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support a secure environment. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hold a Level III Armed Certification if working in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any incidents or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other equipment in line with company and client policies.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members, site staff, and local law enforcement as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
