As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to remain visible and approachable as you conduct routine patrols. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment, demonstrating our values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation every day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri 04:15 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

An active armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors within the retail or mall setting.
Interact with the public, employees, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during critical situations or emergencies at the location.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.
