How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats. Investigate, document and manage security incidents and hazards. Maintain knowledge/follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. May facilitate planned drills and simulations. Provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Security Guard credentialed from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Drivers License credentialed from the Tennessee Bureau of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What additional preferences we're seeking An Armed Security Guard license from the State of Tennessee (TN Guard Card) is required upon hire Tennessee Driver's License is required day and night shifts available. Will work three 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) and one 6-hour shift per week.
