As a Security Officer - Armed-Driver Patrol Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. This is an armed and driving post, supporting a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and a caring culture. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity and teamwork every shift.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is required or a college degree is required.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Carry a duty weapon in accordance with licensing, post orders, and applicable laws; complete required equipment checks, documentation, and/or reporting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and/or requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Complete security-related logs and reports, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or local responders, and follow escalation and notification procedures as required.
