Requirements

Florida Class D Security Officer License (Required)
Florida Class G Armed Security License (Required)
Must be able to legally carry and responsibly handle a firearm while on duty
Strong observational and communication skills
Professional demeanor and ability to interact with students, staff, and families
Reliable transportation and punctuality
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Nice To Haves

Military experience
Prior law enforcement experience
Previous armed security experience
Experience working in school, church, or community environments

Responsibilities

Provide a visible and professional security presence on campus
Monitor school and church grounds to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors
Control access points and monitor campus activity
Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and surrounding property
Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or suspicious activity
Coordinate with school administration, church staff, and local law enforcement when necessary
Assist with safety procedures during school arrival, dismissal, and church events
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
