About The Position
Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in Brockton MA Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience As a Security Officer Armed in Brockton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Requirements
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, both on foot and/or by vehicle, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual circumstances.
- Monitor the location for security-related concerns, reporting and documenting incidents as required by site protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or critical events.
- Complete required training and maintain all necessary certifications for armed patrol assignments.
