Armed Security Officer - All Shifts

Allied Universal is hiring full-time and part-time Armed Security Guards in Blanch, NC. This role involves patrolling correctional facilities and ensuring security both inside and outside the premises, without interaction with inmates.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid Driver's License (required for driving positions)
- Be able to certify at the range to obtain an armed NCPPSB guard card
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
- Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in armed security, corrections, military, or law enforcement is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
