As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Industrial in Mansfield, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and upholding our values of teamwork and integrity. Requirements
- Level III Armed Certification (Texas Only) is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for the location, providing excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
- Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting any concerns or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing entry points as required by site protocols.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrols during the shift.
