About The Position

Excelsior Defense is looking for a professional Armed Security Officer (Overnight Part-time) in the Orlando Area, to protect our client's premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property of the housing authority. The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report. This post is a patrol around the property and to do writing report every hour, and scans throughout the property, ensure a safe environment with a professional and polite manner.
Post Days and Hours:
Saturday and Sunday: 9pm to 5am

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Armed Security Officer
• Valid D and G security License (both License needs to be active)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Must have your own weapon
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed report writing

Responsibilities

• Protect client's property by maintain a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act Lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detain any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Watch alarm systems
