Requirements

A valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
Applicants must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation and emergency response techniques.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential threats and observe for unusual activity.
Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to address concerns and support the overall security-related needs of the location.
