Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Rover in Irving, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. This role requires an armed guard card or license and offers a fast-moving environment where agile, reliable, and innovative teammates put people first and act with integrity.

Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• Have an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, drive lanes, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with orderly entry and/or exit for employees, vendors, armored couriers, and visitors.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement as required.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate security-related concerns promptly to Allied Universal leadership and the client contact.
