As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your role involves responding promptly to situations, supporting a caring environment, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Interact with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and help to deter security-related incidents.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and promote a secure environment.
Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and legal requirements.
