Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including the perimeter, checking for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, prohibited items, or security-related concerns in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support incident reporting, shift activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional presence and following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and Allied Universal standards.
