About The Position

Armed Security Officer – Full Time – Denver, CO Rate: $23.53/Hour Join Our Team and Apply Today! Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information as needed and serve as a physical deterrent on site. What Your Day May Look Like Routine site patrols both on foot and in vehicle checking for safety and security threats. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations where appropriate escalation and use of force may be required. Work directly with law enforcement, government staffing, and the community. Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized or suspicious activity, emergency situations, etc. Screen all persons coming through public entrances preventing any prohibited items from entering the facility. Monitor surveillance systems and utilize site equipment and technology. Must be able to meet and continue to meet and applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for security officers. Valid Driver's license and clear driving record. Must have 3-5 years armed security experience. Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred. Standard computer / technology skills needed. Calm, polite, and professional behavior. IPAT evaluation required. Strong customer service skills. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. See a different world. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's license and clear driving record.
• Must have 3-5 years armed security experience.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Calm, polite, and professional behavior.
• IPAT evaluation required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
