Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for an armed post within an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Remain alert and observant while monitoring for suspicious behavior or activities, and report findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as directed, supporting site operations during drills or real incidents.
  • Maintain a professional presence and provide assistance to employees, contractors, and/or visitors as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
