Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Danvers MA Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience As a Security Officer in Danvers, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact professionally with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a secure environment. This armed post requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and you will embody our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while supporting the client's mission.

Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and training.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points, verify identification, and control entry and exit to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports for management and/or law enforcement as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical events and/or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the government location.
Adhere to all weapons handling and storage protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
