Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Danvers MA Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience As a Security Officer in Danvers, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact professionally with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a secure environment. This armed post requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and you will embody our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while supporting the client's mission.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and training.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification, and control entry and exit to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports for management and/or law enforcement as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical events and/or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the government location.
  • Adhere to all weapons handling and storage protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
