Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Armed security officer (must pass Armed training, have valid pistol permit).
A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you.
The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.
Possess strong physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.
Be literate in the English language and be able to read and understand written orders and instructions, complete standard forms and logs and compose reports that convey complete information.
Pass a background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Armed Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience (3+ years) preferred.
Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred
Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.
Monitor access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment.
Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, employing appropriate actions as identified in established procedures.
Maintain meticulous and accurate logs detailing activities, incidents, and noteworthy observations to facilitate thorough reporting and analysis.
