About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Office in Plymouth MA Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security/Law Experience As a Security Officer in Plymouth, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and professional communication will support a secure environment. This role requires you to carry a concealed weapon as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support site policies.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of the surroundings.
Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible and professional presence while interacting with the public, employees, and visitors at the location.
