About The Position
Barbier Security Group (BSG) is a rapidly growing Bay Area based security services company. Founded in 2007, Barbier Security Group has been tasked with providing custom protective security programs for individuals, government organizations, and private companies. BSG is currently seeking qualified Armed Security Officers for a prestigious private University in Oakland. The role of the Armed Security Officer will be high visibility, deterrence, patrols, safety escorts, building checks, community engagement, and dispatch/gate support as needed. The Security team is cross trained to monitor all security, communications and fire/life safety systems, and is the liaison between campus personnel, students, law enforcement, and BSG management. This team is staffed twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The team is directly responsible for the accurate documentation of routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities. The Armed Security Officers must maintain an expert level of knowledge of the campus rules and always provide professional interactions that promote safety and instill confidence to the faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the property.
