About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary focus will be on preventing and responding to security incidents to ensure the protection of assets and individuals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
• Valid armed security officer license in accordance with state regulations
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Current or Retired Military or Law Enforcement Preferred

• Proficiency in first aid and CPR techniques
• Experience in surveillance and loss prevention strategies
• Possession of relevant certificates or licenses (e.g., armed security license)
• Ability to militarize quickly in high-stress situations

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security threats
• Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
• Enforce property regulations and emergency procedures
• Provide visible deterrence to prevent unauthorized access
• Complete thorough reports documenting any security incidents or breaches
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
