Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Must possess a valid armed security guard license issued by the state regulatory authority.
• Proven experience working as an armed security guard or in a similar role is highly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of security procedures and practices is essential.
• Ability to handle firearms safely, effectively, and responsibly is required.
• Excellent observation skills with the ability to identify potential threats or suspicious activities quickly.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods are necessary as the job may involve patrolling or standing guard for extended hours.
• Proficiency in handling emergency situations and proper response techniques is a plus.
• Must have your own firearm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of vigilance and constantly monitor the assigned premises for suspicious activities or persons.
• Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security, enforce regulations, and protect property.
• Conduct thorough inspections of individuals, bags, vehicles, and packages entering or exiting the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify any potential security breaches or hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take immediate action to resolve the situation.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and clients.
• Prepare detailed incident reports on any unusual occurrences, damages, thefts, or loss of property.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary and follow proper protocols during emergencies.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and security measures.
