This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card/license, and you will support access control and professional interactions with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial institution location by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal contacts and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems where assigned, document observed activity, and report concerns through the established chain of communication.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoffs, and support operations by assisting with customer inquiries and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
