About The Position
As an Armed Security Officer at Ascension, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of staff and visitors within our healthcare facilities. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring and responding to potential security threats, as well as investigating and documenting security incidents. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by following established policies and procedures related to alarms and emergency preparedness. Your duties may also include facilitating planned drills and simulations to ensure readiness in case of emergencies. In addition to security duties, you will provide information and assistance to staff and visitors, promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility. This role is essential in supporting the mission of Ascension to provide holistic care and improve the health of the communities we serve.
