About The Position
The position involves providing security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. The security officer will be responsible for proactive monitoring and timely responses to potential or actual security threats. This includes investigating, documenting, and managing security incidents and hazards. The officer must maintain knowledge of and follow policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans, and may facilitate planned drills and simulations. Additionally, the officer will provide information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote safety. For those security officers who are responsible for operating a vehicle, they must do so in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic or parking violations.
