As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential threats.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with general inquiries and directions as needed.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols and guidelines for the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues in the retail environment.
