About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring Armed Security Officers to oversee a Private school located in Lawrence, Long Island. The position is part-time with work shifts available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Candidates should be flexible to work Monday through Sunday. Daily pay is available, allowing employees to get paid before payday. The pay rate ranges from $26.50 to $27.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• 6 Months+ Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Exhibit great customer service skills.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
