Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Antioch, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor management. You will respond to alarms and service calls, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and local responders. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, access roads, and perimeter areas, adjusting patrol patterns based on site conditions and activity levels.
• Monitor access control points and verify identification and/or authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors; document entries, exits, and deliveries per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate updates to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation; report maintenance hazards, damaged fencing, lighting outages, and other conditions that may impact operations.
