As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents, maintain a visible presence, and respond promptly to situations across the facility. You will support access control procedures and interact with staff, patients, and visitors to deliver excellent customer service and communication. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Provide customer service by assisting staff, patients, and visitors with their security-related needs and concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing conflict resolution skills when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the facility.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
• Document incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner, preparing written reports as needed.
• Collaborate with facility staff and law enforcement as directed to address security-related matters and emergencies.
