About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Bayboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will conduct routine patrols across assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This driving and armed post requires you to respond promptly to situations, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and assist in maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

• Must have an active armed guard card or license.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor and report any suspicious or unusual activities as observed during patrols or while stationed.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and client site guidelines.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or government personnel while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
