As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Butner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while patrolling government locations. This position involves both armed and driving responsibilities, requiring you to conduct routine patrols and remain visible to support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and control access points, verifying identification and authorization of individuals entering restricted areas.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site protocols.
Assist with crowd control and/or movement of individuals within the location as needed.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, or other critical events in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Carry and operate assigned firearms and/or security equipment in accordance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.
