As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with courteous service and clear communication. This is a driving post, supporting mobile patrol coverage as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from medical staff and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor direction and/or wayfinding, and report suspicious activity or policy violations per post orders.
• Complete detailed shift documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
