Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Industrial Patrol in Wilmington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property.
Maintain awareness of site conditions and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns promptly.
Work closely with client personnel and Allied Universal management to address any security-related needs specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Operate security-related equipment and systems as required for armed patrol duties.
