As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to respond to calls for service, complete rounds across the campus, and report concerns with integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and suspicious activity per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and building perimeter, monitoring for unusual conditions and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas during patrols, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
