As a Security Officer - Armed Campus Patrol in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and calm response to evolving situations. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, medical-area access concerns, and requests for assistance from clinical teams.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related hazards, then report findings per site procedures.
• Control access at designated posts by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization as required, and assisting with visitor direction and wayfinding.
• Document and communicate security-related incidents, patrol activity, and alarms using reports and logs, and coordinate with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when escalation is required.
