As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role includes responding to incidents, supporting access control, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, and/or unauthorized persons on location.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the healthcare environment.
Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining professionalism.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as required.
Follow protocols for access control, visitor management, and/or emergency procedures specific to the healthcare location.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all activities and incidents while on duty.
