Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Must have a valid armed guard card or license.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for and report any security-related hazards or unusual occurrences during patrols.
Work closely with local staff and law enforcement as needed in compliance with site requirements.
Remain alert and observant to help protect people, property, and information within the location.
Document and communicate observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
