About The Position

We are currently seeking vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officers to join our team at a high-traffic bingo hall located in Wayson's Corner. This site demands a high level of situational awareness, excellent customer service, and the ability to stand for extended periods. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff within the bingo hall. This includes performing routine security patrols, monitoring entrances and exits, responding to incidents, and enforcing site-specific policies.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Maryland Wear and Carry Permit.
• Prior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods, often up to 8 hours or more.
• Ability to remain professional and composed in high-stress situations.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and have a clean appearance.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Conduct routine patrols inside and around the facility.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible and commanding security presence.
• Intervene and respond to suspicious or emergency situations swiftly and appropriately.
• Maintain clear communication with other team members and site management.
• Prepare detailed incident reports when necessary.
• Enforce a strict no cell phone usage policy while on duty.
• Remain alert and on foot for the duration of your shift, which may require standing for long periods.
