As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This armed post offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, people-focused environment where teamwork and integrity are valued every day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site procedures.
Support access control measures by verifying credentials and observing visitor activity within the location.
Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical events.
