About The Position
Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a 1st shift Armed Security Officer, based out of Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, protecting our people is the number one priority, and you will play a critical role in helping create a safe workplace. Your day-to-day operations will revolve around creating and executing procedures that instill confidence in our team that they are safe at work and can focus on their job duties. You will also be responsible for protecting our external customers' products while at our sites. Global economies and brands rely on you and your peers to assess potential threats to building security from those who look to steal their product or our intellectual property. Your primary responsibilities will include facility security and asset protection, observation and reporting, communication and training, and emergency response. You will monitor access control, intrusion detection, and surveillance systems, investigate unusual activity, and prevent unauthorized access to the premises. Additionally, you will inspect all outgoing parcels and track the receipt of secure material shipped from the facility, perform interior and exterior visual patrols, and enforce all safety and security policies and procedures. You will also provide basic medical care and facilitate access for Emergency Responders in the event of an emergency.
