As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

Carry out armed security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service to individuals at the location, addressing inquiries and assisting with access control as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols for emergency response.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences in a timely and thorough manner.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to support security-related objectives.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the government facility environment.
