About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is seeking experienced Armed Security Officers for per diem assignments throughout the Allentown and Palmerton, PA Area. This position offers maximum flexibility, allowing officers to pick up shifts based on their availability while working in a professional, well-supported environment. It is ideal for individuals with ACT 235 certification who are looking to supplement income, transition between roles, or maintain a flexible schedule without being locked into a fixed post. KRE Security provides professional contract security services throughout Pennsylvania and is committed to maintaining a reliable, respectful, and professional work environment with clear expectations and consistent operational support.

Requirements

• Current ACT 235 certification
• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable and punctual when accepting shifts
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must pass background check
• Required in-person orientation prior to assignment

Nice To Haves

• Prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence
• Conduct foot and/or mobile patrols
• Monitor access points, alarms, and overall site conditions
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports (Belfry Software)
• Enforce post orders and client policies
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers
