About The Position

As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Bayboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals at the location and addressing questions or concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or potential security-related threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services.
• Document incidents and daily activities in logs or reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or security-related violations within the government facility.
