As a Security Guard - Armed Government Site Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible and reassuring presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols and interact with others to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
- Interact with visitors, employees, and/or residents in a courteous and professional manner while upholding security-related protocols.
- Assist with access control procedures and verify identification as required by site-specific policies.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related situations as needed.
