Bering Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Armed Guard for Washington Navy Yard Installation. These armed posts are a mix of static and roving posts with varied shifts and hours. The operational requirement is 24/7 located within multiple facilities on the Washington Navy Yard complex. The guards are responsible for access control and exit, response to emergency situations and conducting checks of their facilities as described within post orders. All guard posts shall be manned by a Guard (Occupational Base) and classified at the Guard II level.

Access control and exit management
Response to emergency situations
Conducting checks of facilities as per post orders

Active Secret Security Clearance
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination
Good near and distant vision
Ability to distinguish basic colors
Ability to hear the conversational voice
Pass the semi-annual physical fitness test
Psychological pre-employment testing
High school diploma or equivalent
Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Ability to communicate clearly over radio and telephone
Ability to read and understand printed and computer screen documents
Ability to compose records and reports
No felony convictions or convictions affecting reliability
21 years of age or older or honorably discharged veteran
U.S. citizenship
Valid automobile driver's license
No record of illegal drug use in the past five years
No mental illness that creates unsafe working conditions
Maintain a fitness level consistent with job duties

Reliable transportation
Current Driver's License
