Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents as needed. Be part of a team that values integrity, teamwork, and putting people first in every interaction. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity and/or unauthorized individuals to help to deter potential threats within the facility.
Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when necessary.
Operate communication devices and security-related equipment as required for the post.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site policies specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
