Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence at a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help prevent incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services during incidents as directed by site protocols.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
