About The Position

Ace Prevention Private Security is seeking an Experienced Armed Security Guard to ensure a safe and secure environment in New Orleans. The role involves regular patrols, enforcing company policies, and providing excellent customer service while responding to emergencies and alarms. Requirements

• 3 years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Guard Card.
• Armed Security License.
• Strong conflict management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent sense of judgment.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 to 12 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Punctuality for shifts.
• Well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance.
• Communicate with management on deliveries.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Greet customers as they enter and leave the store.
• Perform routine security patrols throughout different sections of the store every hour.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or mall security agencies when necessary.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Advise customers who activate the EAS system when leaving the store to return to the register to ensure sensors have been removed.
• Inspect any trash/contractor bags.

Benefits

• Competitive pay starting from $20.00 per hour.
• Full-time contract position with expected hours of 35 - 48 per week.
