About The Position

As a Armed Security Guard - Corrections Patrol in Troy, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist in maintaining order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence while on patrol, monitoring for any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public as needed while carrying out assigned duties.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.
• Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
