You will interact with the public, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while maintaining a strong presence as part of a dedicated team. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or disturbances.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and customers.
Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Adhere to all legal requirements and company protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
